About Carlo Thomas Vocal Coach

Over the course of his career as a vocal technician, bass singer Carlo Thomas has served as a vocal coach for a wide variety of students, including students at Marymount Manhattan College and Los Angeles Valley College. A respected performer, Carlo Thomas has worked in a number of prominent Broadway and Off-Broadway plays as well as high-exposure tours, including the Phantom of the Opera, 1776, Miss Chicken Little, the Evangelist, and In Den Hoheren Regionen. He has also directed several acclaimed productions of plays, such as Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolfe?, Waiting for Godot, and La Serva Pedronda. Additionally, he has worked extensively throughout radio and television on shows such as NBC’s Fred Waring’s Pennsylvanians, The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein, the Egg, and Martin’s Lie.

Before launching his career, Mr. Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Art from East Stroudsburg University. He then bolstered his skills as a coach and technician by working with instructors such as Samuel Margolis, Hulda Rossini, Hugh Martin, Timothy Gray, and Carolina Segrera Holden. To complement his singing abilities, he also obtained training in acting.
